My name is Nisjae Marshall. I'm 16 years old and a rising junior. I started drawing when I was in the 3rd grade and continue to this day. I currently love painting with acrylic and experimenting with printmaking.
This piece was inspired by another similar work that I had previously seen. In this artwork, I depicted different parts of Conyers and the surrounding community. I included the Synagogue, Olde Town buildings. The Dinky Train. Cherry Blossoms from Conyers' annual Cherry Blossom Festival, and red arch near the library and Lily pads from the Botanical Garden. I used acrylic paint for this piece with a watercolor background.
The goal of this project was to recreate an object so it served a different meaning. I used a Pepsi bottle that appeared as an active geyser. I used pencil as my media.
