Photo Manipulation

Image
This piece manipulated several photos that were put together into one photo. A cat, a toy car, a figure, a potted plant, and the background image. I put the cat inside the car and the figure right next to it. Then I placed the plant on top of the windowsill. This assignment delt with a lot of cutting and placeing the images, but in the end was an easy task.

Two- Point Perspective

Image
This last piece was my personal favorite. This two- point perspective drawing required straight and acuratre lines that lined up with the horizen line.  My biggest problem with this piece was the lettering and its guiddelines and making sure everything lined up. In the end, the entire work took a lot of effort.

Sketchbook #2

Value-  The lightness and darkness of a color This second sketchbook assignment tested my drawing and value skills. Using a black and white image of my choice, I drew the other half of the image. I dissected the picture by their different values and drew from there. My only problem with this was the face proportions. Other than that, I didn't have a problem working on this sketch.

Sketchbook #1

My goal for this year is to grow as an artist. In terms of "growing", I drew branches and leaves. On the left side, I drew a geometric style, using triangles and straight lines. And on the right side, I used curved lines. My media of choice was colored pencils.

Portfolio Cover

Image
The main priorities for this project was to include my name and be able to describe myself through my portfolio cover. I used watercolor for both the front and back.

T-Shirt Design

Image
This art piece was centered around creating a t-shirt design for Heritage High School's Acedemy for Performing and Visual Arts . I included paintbrushes, a pencil, charcoal, ruler, and blendy stick for the drawing and painting section, a camera for the photography section, and a mouse and chord for the graphic arts section.
